1.3. Acknowledgments⁑
The Stoiba of the Hermetic Synaxis, and indeed the origination of the Hermetic Synaxis itself, was not and could never be the product of a sole individual. Although the principal author of the original form of these texts is Sam Block (a.k.a. polyphanes, Ogún Tolá), basing the framework of the Hermetic Synaxis upon his own understanding of the Hermetic texts and developing its practices as a codification of his own spiritual routines and rituals, none of what eventually came together as the Hermetic Synaxis or its Stoiba could exist were it not for the review, feedback, comments, contributions, suggestions, work, and other assistance and encouragement provided by many others towards its development, to say nothing of the influence and guidance to the principal author’s spiritual path and progress generally. For all this and all else, for their direct involvement or indirect presence, with the help and blessing of God and the gods, the principal author is forever grateful.
