7.2. Oaths of Group Offices

Immediately upon deciding an office holder for a given office, the new officer (NN.) is to recite the following oaths of office for their given term in the presence of their group (at least a majority of members present, although preferably with the whole group present), noting the specific start date of their office and the year of the term.

7.2.1. Secretary

7.2.1.1. For a New Group

According to the will and assent of this hetaireia of the Hermetic Synaxis and in the company of you all who are my witnesses, I, NN., undertake the office of grammateus for the <year> term on this <start date> for the founding of our hetaireia. To the best of my ability as grammateus, guiding those who come after me, I shall record and coordinate the affairs of our hetaireia.

7.2.1.2. For an Existing Group

Unlike the offices of secretary and treasurer which must be instituted at the start of a group’s formation in their first term, the office of representative may be instituted at any point.

According to the will and assent of this hetaireia of the Hermetic Synaxis and in the company of you all who are my witnesses, I, NN., undertake the office of presbeutēs for the <year> term on this <start date> for the founding of our hetaireia.
